1. buat timbunan buku-buku di atas meja. Lagi tebal buku itu, lagi bagus.
2. Jangan kemaskan meja. Buatkannya seselerak yang mungkin. Kalau boleh, sepahkan lagi dengan kertas-kertas projek, surat-surat rasmi yang sebenarnya tiada kaitan langsung dengan anda.
3. Jika ditangkap sedang browse ke laman web yang tidak berkenaan dengan kerja, sila beritahu yang anda sebenarnya sedang belajar software baru.
4. Bawa 2 sweater/kot yang serupa ke pejabat. 1 tinggalkan di kerusi, dan 1 lagi untuk anda ketika pulang. Ini untuk memperlihatkan yang anda seolah-olah masih ada di pejabat ketika lewat petang, walhal pada masa itu anda sudah tiba di perkarangan rumah.
5. Sentiasa kerutkan muka dan buat catitan di kertas jika menerima panggilan henpon, meskipun panggilan itu dari bini anda atau mertua yang menanyakan perkara yang tiada kaitan langsung dengan kerja.
6. Sentiasa mengeluh dan memicitkan dahi ketika waktu pejabat untuk meyakinkan bos yang anda sebenarnya sedang memikirkan penyelesaian kepada masalah pejabat, sedangkan sebenarnya anda tengah berfikir nak makan apa malam nanti.
7. Buat muka garang dan serius ketika menulis artikel TKO atau email yang tidak berkaitan dengan kerja, supaya rakan sekerja di depan anda menyangkakan yang anda sedang sibuk gila dengan tugas.
8. Sentiasa off henpon ketika waktu pejabat (seboleh mungkin) supaya semua semua call masuk ke voicemail dan jangan lupa meletakkan voicemail yang berbunyi "Sila tinggalkan pesanan anda dan saya akan membalasnya dengan seberapa segera kerana sekarang saya sedang menghadiri mesyuarat penting."
