Tersebutlah kisah seorang ustaz telah mengajar kepada muridnya bahawa syurga itu di bawah tapak kaki ibu. Lalu murid itu yang masih tidak faham dengan apa yang dimaksudkan dengan guru tersebut ingin mencari syurga tersebut.
Pada satu malam apabila ibunya telah tidur ia pun mencari secara senyap-senyap tanpa pengetahuan ibunya.
Tapi malangnya ia masih tidak berjumpa dengan syurga yang dimaksudkan oleh ustaz tersebut lalu ia pun terus mencari sehingga di dalam kain ibunya.
Perbuatan tersebut telah disedari oleh ibunya lalu ia pun menceritakan bahawa dia sedang mencari syurga di bwah tapak kaki ibu seperti yang telah diceritakan oleh ustaz tersebut.
Budak itu pun bertany;
“ibu apakah syurga yang saya lihat ada dalam kain ibu”
ibunya pun menjawab;
“itu bukan syurga engkau, itu syurga bapak kau”
