Seorang yang agak dungu telah memenangi satu cabutan bertuah semasa mengikuti hari keluarga syarikat tempatnya bekerja. Dia telah memenangi hadiah sebuah termos. Walaubagaimanapun dia tidak mengetahui apakah benda itu dan bagaimana menggunakannya. Dia pun bertanya kepada rakan di sebelahnya. Apakah benda ini dan apakah gunanya benda ini?. Rakannya menjawab,"Itu adalah termos. Ia menyebabkan benda panas kekal panas dan benda sejuk kekal sejuk".
Dia ke tempat kerja keesokan harinya. Semasa di pejabat, dia berselisih dengan bosnya.Bosnya bertanya apakah yang dimenanginya semalam. "Termos!", jawabnya pantas. "Ia membuatkan benda panas kekal panas dan benda sejuk kekal sejuk", sambungnya lagi dengan penuh yakin. Bosnya kemudian bertanya, "Apa yang kau isikan dalam termos itu?". "Ohh, saya isikannya dengan kopi panas dan aiskrim", jawabnya dengan penuh bangga.
